Greetings Friends!

I recently attended the Northwest Food and Wine Festival in Portland, Oregon, and I must say it was quite a fun time!  I was surrounded by some wonderful food and wine all night long and I was very happy to see so many other Walla Walla wineries represented at the event.  On my island was Va Piano, Basel Cellars, Five Star Winery, and Balboa Winery, with many more scattered throughout the room.  This was a great chance for restaurant wine buyers and customers alike to sample the wonders of Northwest wine especially since so many guests were unfamiliar with Walla Walla wines.  It was wonderful to meet all of you who came to visit me at my table and I look forward to seeing you here in Walla Walla soon.  Here is a picture of me at our table and one of my trusty volunteer Aaron Peet (Left) and traveling journalist Josh Harriman (Right) taken by representatives of Jimmy Dean.
